Donation Refund Policy

We, Catalyst India, are instituting a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations, as digital payments are becoming more and more frequent in nature. We at, Catalyst India, request all donors to exercise care and diligence while making donations. Catalyst India, recognises the fact that a donation may be made mistakenly or donors may change their mind.

Catalyst India, assures all donors that each request for refund of donation will be examined very carefully and the refund will be made accordingly. We, Catalyst India, may also ask for further information / documents and the donor must cooperate in this regard.

However, Catalyst India, is not duty bound to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

Following are the steps to follow if you would like your donation to Catalyst India to be refunded:

You, the ‘User’, has to give a request to Catalyst India in writing or by email for a refund and your request must reach us, Catalyst India, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of your donation i.e. the date on which your donation was:

i) Made the donation online, electronically or through other means,

OR

ii) Handed over the cheque / demand draft to us at ,’Catalyst India’, or someone authorised by us at, ‘Catalyst India’, for this purpose,

OR

iii) Despatched the cheque / demand draft to us at,’Catalyst India’,by other means.

The written request giving reasons for requesting a refund must be sent to the address given below and must contain the following details applicable to the donation:

1. Date of donation
2. Donation amount
3. If donation was made through credit card, please provide Credit Card no. (last 4 digits only).
4. If donation was made online, please provide Donation-ID
5. If donation was made through cheque/draft, please provide Cheque/Draft no
